Renee Boyer is an Art Therapist who has been practicing in the community for 18 years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from New York University in 1994 and has worked in both inpatient psychiatric hospital settings with individuals and groups, as well as outpatients for the New Orleans Center for Eating Disorders and the New Orleans DBT Psychotherapy Network where she is the Associate Director. She has experience and additional training working with children, adolescents, and adults with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eating Disorders, Body Image, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, Bullying Prevention, Suicide, and various educational programs. She is also a School Counselor and Director of Counseling at a local girl’s high school.
